after we got home from rome, mom and terri made ashley and i some killer breakfast and american dinner! it was delish...
for the next few days we all just hung out-made more dinners-went out to eat at our favorite dinner places (including mexican) and just had a good time. it was a great time having them here-it was so fun showing mom around and where/what i am doing over here.
today i was walking home from school and i was just looking at the rooftops that line the city and was just thinking: i am in italy. seriously? here i am. im in italy. living here. i only have one month left. but im here. who would have ever thought? this experience has been the best of my life. such a growing experience. i have gone through so much over here. my highest of highs, my lowest of lows. so many memories. and its already almost over...wow, time does fly.
i have really seen that the sky is the limit for me. i can do anything i want with my life. there is nothing holding me back. and it feels so good to be able to do what I want for once. to make the best decisions for me.
i have really been praying about my upcoming summer and am ecstatic to say that i think i have finally gotten some answers about my summer! im pretty sure that i am going to apply for summer project...im still praying about where i need to be, but i have narrowed it down. ill keep the locations a surprise :)
so tonight:
i went to tijuana's with ryan nick chris ash and christine.
went for a late night walk/mc don run with ryan.
and had an amazing skype date to make the night even sweeter than it was!
now tomorrow? im sleeping until my body wakes me up! woo! i havent had a morning like that in weeks. its going to feel so good. but tomorrow is my busy day of writing papers and all that school crap...
then saturday im going on a ten mile hike with christine!
although i am not traveling this weekend, im enjoying one of my last weekends in florence! it doesnt get any better. :)
